SP&DCO is a local voice striving for smart sustainable and harmonious living.

We will:

• Undertake regular community meetings with opportunities for two-way conversations in an inclusive and supportive environment
• Listen, support and act where possible on identified issues of concern or need
• Seek, share and deliver information
• Act as a voice, sharing concerns and striving for better outcomes with government agencies
• Seek to obtain funds when needed through available grants
• Aim to maintain village atmosphere by holding Kempsey council accountable to developments, ensuring plans and strategies are adhered to
• Continue to support the protection of the unique coastal and surrounding environments
• Conduct operations in a timely, safe, respectful and legal way

SPADCO ACTS under a formalised incorporated structure with the security of insurance and guidance from a constitution. We elect a committee yearly which informs and assists the community through a collaborative decision-making process.
